Need new floors? Request a local installer

Free · No obligation · You choose who to hire

Handled by HelpMeNow.com, a Help Me Now Inc service. The installer who calls you is an independent Washington-registered contractor.

You call or text once. We schedule a free in-home measure with a Washington-registered flooring installer, who quotes in writing and does the work under a contract with you. Here is the whole arrangement.

One call or text

Call or text (844) 543-5757 with the rooms, roughly how many square feet, what is on the floor now and whether there are stairs. A photo helps. You get a call back, usually within one business day, to book a free in-home measure.

The measure

A Washington-registered flooring installer comes to your home, measures every room, checks the subfloor for flatness and moisture, looks at doorways, stairs and transitions, and talks through laminate and vinyl plank options with you. It takes thirty to sixty minutes and costs nothing. Before the visit you receive the installer's business name and L&I registration number.

The quote

Within a few days you receive an itemized written quote: product, underlayment, removal and disposal, subfloor preparation, transitions and trim, stairs, appliance and furniture handling, labor, tax and schedule. You approve it or not. If you approve, a materials deposit is normal and the amount is on the quote; the balance is due after your walkthrough at completion.

The installation

Product is delivered to acclimate, then the crew removes the old floor, preps the subfloor, installs, finishes trim and transitions and hauls away debris. If removal uncovers a problem the measure could not see, work pauses and you get a price before it continues. You walk the floor with the installer before final payment.

What we do and do not do

We take your request, schedule the measure, send you the installer's details and follow up to make sure you were taken care of. We do not perform flooring work and we are not a party to your contract with the contractor. Price ranges on this site are planning guidance, not a price list.

Why this exists

Help Me Now Inc runs local service lines like this one so that a homeowner who wants new floors reaches a competent, registered installer on the first call and gets a written quote instead of a sales pitch. The installer gets work; you get a floor done right.

FAQ

Questions homeowners ask us

Is Seattle Flooring Installers a flooring company?

No. It is a scheduling and coordination service operated by Help Me Now Inc, a Washington company based in Bellevue. The measuring, quoting and installation are performed by an independent flooring contractor registered with Washington L&I. You get the contractor's name and registration number before the measure, and you can verify it on the L&I website.

Do I pay you anything?

No. Homeowners never pay Help Me Now Inc. You pay the flooring contractor for the work under the written quote you approve, with a materials deposit on approval and the balance at completion, per the contractor's agreement. Our arrangement is with the contractor.

Can I decline the installer you send?

Yes, at any point before you sign their quote. The measure is free and carries no obligation.

Where do the price ranges on this site come from?

They are typical Seattle-area market ranges for planning, drawn from regional pricing for mid-grade products installed on reasonably flat subfloors. They are not the contractor's price list; the contractor's written quote after measuring your home is the price.
